ROD PROMOTIONS
Western Australian Hot Rod Promotions Inc. is
the controlling body responsible for the running of the Western Australian State Title
Hot Rod and Street Machine Spectacular. WAHRP is a non-profit organization consisting of
representatives from WA's hot rod and modified vehicle clubs. WAHRP is committed to the planning
and organisation of the state title show and the promotion of hot rodding in
WA.
For many years, the State
Title Show was held at the Showgrounds Exhibition Centre in Claremont. For the
2001 show, WAHRP moved to the outstanding Burswood Dome, part of the Burswood
International Resort complex on the banks of the Swan River, five minutes from
the city centre. The move was an exciting one and with it the show has
continued to grow as the biggest and best show of its type in Western
Australia.
